Staying Home :-)

Well, I have decided to stay home today. With all the work I've done this past two weeks, even carrying work home ... I think I deserve a "Work From Home" day which I have decided to take today. I'm an on call person so no doubt my cell phone will ring constantly through out the day but I really need a break. I took some work home yesterday but was just too tired to look at it so I'll work on those today in the comfort of my boudoire!!

OK everyone, don't envy me because you have to be at work today. Don't let the "bad mind" get active. Just be happy for me!

Will try to post again later today if I can take a break from the work I have to do!

Rain, Feel It on My Fingertips

These past two days have been quite rainy. Cats and dogs as they say. It's the kind of weather that makes you want to stay home, curled up in bed with your honey or a good book and a comforter. Real nice weather. Pity we have to go to work every day!!

She has now finally decided and has told him as much that she is extremely stressed out about the relationship and needs a break to put things in perspective. Surprisingly, he was not upset at this but rather said that he knew that she needed to do this.

Whether it is because he knows the error of his ways (which I strongly think is the reason for this calm reaction) or that he wants a break himself, I began to wonder, what does a person do after many years of committment to one person, only to realize that it was all a big waste of time? Can we get our money back? Can we get back the time invested in this person? Can we get a rebate of the pain and suffereing endured? I don't want to sound melodramatic or anything but this type of thing happens all the time, in long-term relationships, common law marriages and real marriages. How does one feel at the end of such a long road? It is always a fear that prevents us from moving on when we know we should. We hold on and fight for something that just shouldn't not be.

I understand her pain and my heart goes out to her. She will have (hopefully) learnt from the experience. She is a very strong woman and I know she will overcome and bounce back. She deserves to be happy.

For me, I admit that the hurt one can feel may seem unbearable, the world might seem to crumble and you may feel like jumping off a cliff. But ... the experience should only make you stronger. It is always said don't miss the lesson in anything that you do and relationships are no exception. It is the lesson learnt that is our money back guarantee.

My parents (both Primary school principals by profession) participated in a Ministry of Education sponsored program with MSVU in Canada and both were awarded their "Diploma In School Management". The graduation ceremony was held yesterday at the Ritz Carlton in Montego Bay.

Lord knows they will never read this blog but big up to them anyway!

Dumb Blonde

I can't begin to tell you all how pissed I am. This was a rotten weekend. To add insult to injury, I deleted my original blog by mistake on Saturday. So, all my posts, everything I have said, implied, instructed, advised - GONE!!! I have written to blogger to see if there is any hope of getting it back and still await their response.

Everything happens for a reason. Maybe this is blogger's way of telling me I need a new start, a fresh outlook on blogging ... Something??

New Beginnings

Welcome to my secret garden. Previously known as "Patience Is A Virtue", My Secret Garden is the new beginning of Cool Destiny. I am yet to decide the fresh new twist and turn of this blog but hope that all my faithful visitors will continue to do so.

So, I'm at work. It sucks today. I've intentionally locked myself up in my office. Just don't feel like socializing with the rest of the office today. I think I will be leaving early too. The best thing today so far is the Crimson Fire red colour in my hair! It's just smokin'.
